Art in the Loft (Northeast Michigan Center for Fine Arts, Inc.) is a non-profit organization with a $290,000 annual budget. We raise that money each year through corporate donors, memberships, workshop revenue, exhibition fees, artwork sales, fundraising events, and grant awards. We receive support from The Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan (CFNEM), Alpena County Youth & Recreation Mileage, the Besser Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), and Michigan Arts & Culture Council (MACC).

Meetings:
- Art in the Loft holds a monthly board of directors meeting on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 5:30pm.
- Art in the Loft reviews financial reports and annual budget during it's monthly finance meetings, which are held on the second Thursday of every month.
- Mid-January the staff and board meet for a half-day Strategic Planning Meeting to set major goals and action plans for the calendar year.
