Kids in the Kitchen, August: Lake Life Beach Boards
Kids in the Kitchen students will enjoy colorful and creative hands-on culinary experiences. All while learning skills they can share with their family and friends.
In this hands-on session, students will learn about knife handling and safety before putting these skills into action while they prepare fresh fruits and veggies. From Red to Violet also known as ROYGBIV, culinary educator, Jess Krawczak will teach students about the importance of eating the rainbow.
Our little culinary creatives will next find inspiration among the artwork on display in our gallery to design edible images. But first, students will personalize their take-home Charcuterie snack boards with unique rocks collected from our Great and inland Lakes.
From pine trees to sunshine, fresh waves and Salmon, we are packing all kinds of creativity in to these edible Lake Life Beach Boards, inspired by Shark-Cuterie!
