smART / Kids in the Kitchen, February: Valentines Workshop
After you've had your fill of fun during the Alpena IceFest, come in and warm your heARTs with Art in the Loft!
Join us for a warm cup of hot coca with all the fixings while you Learn the Art of cooking decorating In this Kids in the kitchen culinary workshop.
Students will go step by step learning all the tips and tricks of the decorating process with cookie artist Tressa Marie. Followed by A children’s Art Class designed to introduce students to the elements of art utilizing different mediums. In this session artist and educator Lane Olsen will show students what macaroni, an egg, hearts and the Shaka sign all have in common as they leave their "imprint" with love.
Each student will leave the workshop with a dozen of their own delicious, edible masterpieces and completed work of art.
