Students ages 8-10 years of age will write and illustrate a dynamic book using the community mural as their inspiration! This workshop will be collaborated by local educators Julie Bastow of Empowered Learners and Brooke Stevens of Art in the Loft,who will guide students and encourage them while honing their literary and visual skills. Students must attend all three days to ensure a successful collaboration. Scholarships are available and encouraged!
