The Art of the Abstract, Sunday, February 17, 3pm-5pm
Join us as local art instructor and Art in the Loft exhibiting Artist Danyeal Dorr takes you step-by-step through the basic elements needed to create your own abstract masterpiece. Utilizing her Art History background Danyeal will touch on the techniques of some famous abstract artists such as Kandinsky, Klee, Duchamp, and more.

Instructor Danyeal Dorr
Artist Bio:
Danyeal Dorr is a Harrisville, MI native and became interested in art at a very early age. Encouraged and inspired by her High School art teacher she went on to pursue an education in the Arts. She received her BS in Art History with a studio focus with a minor in Historic Preservation from Kendall College of Art and Design. She currently teaches Painting and Ceramics at Alpena Community College and is a personal Gallery Curator for various local businesses.
