Grace MarshallJewelry
Grace Marshall is an Alpena Native, returning to the area 8 years ago.
Her jewelry making began as a kid in her dad’s workshop, cutting copper and brass tubing and making it into rings. In High school she broadened her skills with various mediums through the jewelry classes she took. She has always drawn on color and texture in her pieces, and enjoys a style in asymmetrical as well as whimsical work. Until a few years ago, the demands of career and household didn’t give her much creative time but from time to time she would make a few jewelry pieces for herself. Requests for pieces started coming from family and friends and with the encouragement of a friend. She has designed and created special pieces for brides and bridal parties and other special events; and will design and craft custom pieces. Her wish is for every one of her pieces to be worn in good health and cheer. Each piece is unique; utilizing a variety of materials from bottle tops, wire wrapping in various metals from brass, copper and silver, clay beads, to crystal, pearls and natural stones to name a few. |
