Anne Murphy Schaaf is a member of East Ludington Gallery in Escanaba. Her work has been presented in various galleries, museums and private collections.
She attended DePauw University, University of Pennsylvania. She graduated from University of Michigan with a B.S. in design and attended Wayne State University’s graduate program. She also has a Michigan Art Teacher Certification.
Profession of Motherhood: 7 children, 12 grandchildren.

My painting is a door to the soul– a psychic journey of spiritual self expression.
Art is to see the form of life of the spirit.
The intangibles I paint are to express a link from the natural world to the realm of the Spirit. Art and Spirit are intangibles: through this visualization of intangibles I attempt to reach your inner self.
Art is meant to be a glimpse of Ultimate Truth in an Earthly symbol.”
