I have always been interested in creating things. Pottery, drawing, painting, sewing, woodworking, cooking are some of the things I enjoy.
When working with clay, I enjoy developing a design using different methods and techniques. Combining colors and textures is fascinating. Finding objects from nature or the hardware store that can be used to create texture in clay is fun. Basically, I really just enjoy experimenting.
Living in northern Michigan with its lakes and forests, has inspired me to be more inventive and creative. Since retiring from education I have been able to devote more time to my passions.
