Art in the Loft Excursions: Watercolor Walk on Sportsman's Island!
Art in the Loft Excursions. Where we extend our classroom out into the community, enriching student experiences as we explore various artistic modalities from natural parks to brick & mortar.
On this adventure, we are tapping into our creativity and finding inspiration with watercolors in an awe-inspiring setting on Sportsman's Island.
Together we will get acquainted with our surroundings as we walk among the beautiful gardens, around the wooden water tower and along the Islands signature bridge, gathering a bounty of inspiration. Miss Mariah of the Lovely Little Lettering Co. will then share a variety of watercolor techniques in her signature style of florals, as well as numerous tips, tricks and techniques to help you personalize a masterpiece to take home. Ripples of water, Daisys, cattails and swans... beauty and inspiration will be all around you! . Pack a cozy blanket and/or camp chair and your favorite N/A beverage and join us!.
*All skill levels are welcomed and supplies are included, but feel free to bring your favorite watercolor palette and brushes if desired.
