Celebrate and highlight the art of storytelling through music! In this new series, we will feature a variety of talented musicians and bands for both a live performance and a chance to share their stories and methods behind the music. Saturday, September 26th, we welcome the local duo, A Tranquil Trauma!

Artist Bio:
Band members Morgan Suszek and Pete Schuller have been writing and creating together for many years. In October of 2019, the duo released their first EP on Bandcamp, titled Songs To Burn To. However, this particular EP has a catch. Each of the songs included are the preliminary stylings of a full-length musical that Morgan has been writing and developing for over a decade!
Now, Morgan is taking this Storyteller chance to do something a little different. Instead of just playing their original album and telling their stories, this month will feature a workshop style version of Act 1 of their original musical, A Tranquil Trauma! Casting has been completed and rehearsals are in full swing. So don't miss out on your chance to be the first to see this talented group in action and the first to support an original musical written and developed right here in Alpena!
