Ann’s interest in design and color began as a child. She used art materials to develop style and technique, experimenting with a variety of tools including a pottery wheel. Later she continued to learn about technique, color and design at Eastern Michigan and Wayne State University. She has displayed her pottery at shows and galleries in southeastern and northern Michigan.
With degrees in the education of children with hearing impairment, autism, and early childhood, Ann has recently retired. She is now finding the time to get back to the drawing, painting, and making of pottery she has enjoyed since childhood.
Ann can be found in northern Michigan in her home studio with her husband Bill and their Golden Retriever Joey.
